Yellow/Black greetings from the makers of the Dutch NAC Breda Fansite Noad Advendo Combinatie. As you know NAC Breda is the last club of your Dutch-American player Earnest Stewart. We always liked Stewart playing at NAC Breda. Please visit www.nacbreda.tk and leave a message in the guestbook ... NAC BREDA GREETS AND SUPPORTS DC UNITED !!!
Greetings to you as well. Some of us have been to Breda to see NAC play. NAC is a great team and Breda a great town.
Is NAC Breada in FIFA 2003 for PS2? I've been trying to make a current roster for my season and Earnie is on the national team but not NAC Breda. Thanks.
Great to have you here! Welcome to the DC United board nacbreda. We're hoping Earnie does for us the wonderful magic he's been doing for you guys for so long. Best of luck to NAC. Hopefully DC United and NAC Breda both win their leagues. -Digital
BREDA, we miss you on TV I miss Dutch football on TV this year. Fox Sports has replaced it with that darn La Liga minus Barca and R Madrid. At least with the Dutch League, we got PSV, Ajax, AND BREDA. DCU Supports Breda(!) but I'm pulling for Johnny O and Ajax in Champions League.
here is a Barra Brava flag flying in Vak G at the FC Gronigen game back in november. United and NAC are old friends. you might know some of the guys in the photos NAC Breda! http://www.activedesigns.com/photos/photos.htm
NAC Breda is not in EA Sports FIFA 2003. They do not have the Holland league in the game, unfortunately. Sometimes it baffles me at some of the leagues they choose to include (the K-League and the Austrian League) and the leagues they choose to leave out (the Argentinian League and the Dutch League). The only club from Holland that is actually in the game is Ajax because they are one of the 18 Champions League clubs that the game highlights. BTW, the rankings of some of the teams and individual players in the game are downright awful.
hey nacbreda, will you and other NAC Breda fans follow how Earnie Stewart does and how DC United do this season in MLS? Hope you don't take another three months to submit another post on here
I agree that Eddie Pope is slighted some in his rankings. By the way EA formulates overall rankings for each player (based on an aggregate of skill rankings), I think they are off base with a lot of players, especially MLS players. They are pretty accurate with the players on the top clubs in the world, but they seem off when it comes to the "smaller" leagues like MLS. Some examples: Ruiz's overall ranking is 53 (out of 99), waaaaaaaaaaay too low for the player that he is--I'd say he should be in about 80 or 81; McBride is only a 53!!!! For a cat who gets thrown right into the EPL and scores four goals in a short period of time, 53 is way unfair! I give McBride an 85 for he's confident on the ball, has good touches, and is dominant in the air; Donovan is only a 73 (but he was ranked 83 in the EA Sports WC2002!?!), I'd give Landon an 80; plus they don't rank Mathis' shooting ability high enough. I don't think my rankings are too off base because look at John O'Brien's ranking: 87. It is that high because he is a starter for Ajax, one of the 18 highlighted Champion's League clubs. In addition, Sanneh has a good overall ranking in the mid 80s (because he plays on a Bundesliga side). Brad Freidel is only 73 (or 76)--for a guy that many pundits claim to be the top keeper in the EPL right now, he should be at least a 90! Another thing that gets me are the overall team rankings (which go by a powerbar). The USMNT ranking is six bars high...they rank both LA Galaxy and San Jose Earthquakes with six bars!!! There is no way that the USMNT should be ranked at the same level as those two clubs. (Think about it, would LA or SJ have made it to the World Cup Quarterfinals??? I don't think so...) Then, they give Mexico a ranking of nine bars!! And who has won five out of the last six matches between Mexico and the US?????? Unfair! There are a few Brazilian clubs with overall rankings of around nine bars, but when I look at the player rankings on their rosters, most of their rankings are comparable with the better MLS clubs...so I don't know why they inflate the club rankings. For those who have the game, check out the rankings for yourself. I'm complaining because I like to play the game using MLS clubs and the USMNT, but it makes it harder to play with these teams/players when their abilities aren't ranked very good (unfairly in many cases). But I guess when the EA game makers sit down and come up with these rankings, it's not quite like doing so for a Madden football game because they have to deal with MANY leagues, not just one), and thousands of players. So I guess it is a difficult task to get each player out of thousands correctly ranked; and thus, for obvious reasons, they pay more attention to accurately ranking the top teams/players in the world.
I think that Dante Washington is ranked in the 80's as well. They did a terrible job ranking MLS players.
