This is the most excited I’ve been out a signing in a long time. I’m also absolutely sure that he is going to be unbelievably good for us. The perfect player for our midfield.
LOL. I hope for your sake he doesn't eff up very often, Suss. great to see him starting to get up to speed at the club so early.
Naby Keita has revealed how Sadio Mane helped convince him to sign for Liverpool. The pair have been close friends since they played together at Salzburg and share the same agent in Bjorn Bezemer, who negotiated Mane's £30million switch from Southampton to Anfield in 2016. Keita sought advice from the Senegal international before deciding to make the move from RB Leipzig. “I chose Liverpool because it is a team I watched often and I also spoke a lot about it with Sadio,” Keita told Liverpoolfc.com “He told me a lot about the team and the club. Sadio is like family to me. We were friends at Salzburg and he was like a brother to me. "After training we used to go home together. He was my best friend there. I'm looking forward to being his team-mate again. "I also spoke with the coach, who told me about the project for the team and that motivated me to be here.”
Apparently some raider from the North has been hanging around Anfield and Melwood, and abducting Liverpool warriors whenever he gets the chance

I really couldn't agree more. He really does feel like a perfect fit. The most excited I've been for a signing since maybe Xabi... Torres and even VVD are up there though.

‘It was a surprise,’ says Keita. ‘When I came here that day I didn’t know Steven would be at Melwood. It was exciting to be presented with the shirt by him. ‘I watched him when I was growing up. I’m a midfielder and Steven was always the boss of the team, so I couldn’t be anyone else but Steven Gerrard when I played. I admired him so that was a special day. He told me, “Everyone will be here for you. We will help you.” http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...Keita-pretend-Steven-Gerrard-wears-shirt.html
