    Big win for Montedio. I'm sorry about Matsumoto: they're oversuffering their inexperience.

    Shimizu's team efforts were very weak. Its obvious that that Shimizu's bench is weak.

    <>I hope club don't make same mistake as they did in the last season journey.ie; sub heavy squad vs nabisco opponents.
    Theyr of course right to focus to the League journey, but it cause a team momentum and chemistry in the short and long run. as it did effect negatively in the last season journey. it seems club continue to same mind this season journey too.

    I think, a mixed starting eleven(a team players number more) in the nabisco cup could be effective as a positive way for both journey league and cup. team momentum and chemistry as a positive bound impact, its a must factor that that not make too much make up in the starting line ups week in week out alongside midweek cup.

    Last;

    Yamagata deserved the 3 point. I liked their effort in the upfront,..they showed some nice counters.they were the dynamic and hunger side and did the right steps for the victory.

    Shimizu players a bit sleepy movements at the field from minute one till the final whistle. they had many time miss communications…there was no team chemistry,connections,body reactions in their pass etc movements.

    Coach diditn handle the game in this term aspecialy.

    I hope, its a good lesson for coach and entire team.

    ps;

    I don't get why Utaka didn't played from starting eleven nor as a sub.

    Regards,

    Nagoya, Kobe, Tokyo and Albirex through to the next round. Not really that surprising, since they are the teams that have used the most 1st team members for their cup-matches. The most disappointing team has to be Kawasaki Frontale, as they as well used most of their 1st team players for most of their matches.

    Well, an Urawa-side without 5 regular starters that is;) While Albirex only made 1 change to their usual lineup.

    But 0-9 in their last 2 matches must be a new record or something for Urawa, and the fans cant possibly be happy.

    Urawa have a great squad depth Basse. Their starting 11 was pretty good.

    Alibirex have a good team, and their performances in the last league games were very good, but they were let down by either bad luck or poor defence.

    Last game I watched for them is the one against Hiroshima, which they lost 0-2, and they were dominating the game and threatening Sanfrecce's goal and defence time after time, only a excellent performance by Hayashi, Mizumoto and Shiotani prevent them from scoring at least 3 goals.

    So a breakthrough was on the way, and with less pressure and their nerves more settled for a Nabisco cup match, and with Urawa not in a good form, this result came as no surprise.

    True, and nobody expected them lose 0-5. But obviously this is not a tournament Urawa puts too much weight on, so that Albirex won was no surprise.

    No one watched the game? Kashima won it for the 6th time. They fully deserved this win as they were better than Gamba for 90 minutes of the game. Caio did some cool stuff in the final minutes of the game showing that he's true Brazilian ;) Ogasawara won tournament's MVP with a nice interview in the end as well.
