I was watching the Gatorade US Soccer Commercial and it got me thinking. They play baseballs Take Me Out To The Ballgame, this song is perfect for soccer. The words are easy to replace and my lyrics look something like this: Take me out to the ballgame, take me out to the crowd. Buy me some peanuts and crackerjacks, I don't care if I ever get back, for it's root, root, root for America! If they don't win, I will cry but it's 1,2,3 goals we win at the new Ballgame. Chant: U...S...A! U...S...A! U...S...A! If everyone hates it fine, but try singing it and see what you think. It allows for very loud vocalization and is perfect for the red, white, and blue.
I thought it would be a good idea to sing "3 blind mice" whenever the Refs made terrible calls (ie anything against us). Its part of a baseball urban-legend that it was sung in one game in the 20's or 30's where one of the umpire either never made it to the park or got sick. What do you guys think?
