The Potomac is infinitely cleaner than the Anacostia, it is only dangerously polluted, not deadly polluted :D

Up by my place the Potomac is pretty clean (it's where DC gets it's drinking water, and where I pee in the Potomac)

50? I thought it jumped the rails back around 19. ;)

And quite an entertaining tumble down the gorge it was!

This is a Barra thread. It can go off-course with one word.

I remember seeing punk bands at the old Wax Museum.

Not if there was some guy who bought scalped tickets in the front row for his 15-year-old son who wore a Dan and Jean tee-shirt and ended up crying because the Dick Dale fans all around him were being mean.

You were that 15 year old boy weren't you? It's ok... let it out... cry... cry like Sauron when he lost his contact lens.

And that my friends is full circle. And a bit eerie.

Now that you mention it and I think about it more, I'm not sure what I'd be more ashamed of, my son owning a Dan and Jean shirt or a Landy shirt. I know Landy shirt is the knee-jerk but, really?

I agree 100% with the abuse idiots will get for being in the WRONG SECTION. Never mess with ultras... poor noob. If any idiot starts saying crap about how ultras should be banned then of course remind him nobody wears a Yankee cap at a Redsox game and vice versa. No Cowboys fan will ever walk into Philadelphia and come out feeling the love of humanity. Unfortunately there are too many Beckham noobies walking into certain MLS stadiums completely unaware of what they are getting into. The good thing is they now know, and knowing is half the battle... go Joe.

I would have issue if I had a 15-year old son wearing a Donovan jersey!

I sit across the pitch on the quiet side and I think all of you are a bunch of f***ing nuts. But your hearts are in the right place.

I always wondered what that smell was when the wind blew across the field to our side.

False. Two people tried to pull that stunt and bolted the minute people started throwing assorted objects at them (which took all of 25 seconds).

My sis and I were the tattooe'd drunken assholes standing in front of him. He expected us to sit and be respectful I guess. He wouldn't listen to reason. That's when I asked for help from Bill and Grumpy, and I just turned around and forgot about his dumb ass. Thanks for reminding me. HAHAHAHAHAHA

Thanks for sharing bro. It's amazing how fast his tune changed when I advised him that I had been in contact with a number of people that remembered him vividly. :D

One evening, a C, an Eb, and a G go into a bar. Bartender says: "Sorry,
    but we don't serve minors."
