Same here, except for the not knowing where I am bit. I think it's OK, BigSoccer loads up slow on IE anyway (at least in my office it does). So I don't notice any performance issues. I do agree that individual Friend Live Updating should be off/on and that it should take you to your last post, etc. And my wacky suggestion is that you should be able to send Rival requests too. That way if there's someone you like to argue with all the time and they accept your request, the two of you won't be able to hide from each other.
I tell you the one thing that I'm loving is all the feedback we're getting from the powers that be. It's nice to see that when over a dozen paying members bring up their opinions/concerns about a new feature that they get a prompt response from management. That's what I call customer service!

Nope, no longer invisible, so that kinda goes out the window as well....since now, you show up on the side boxes there everytime you post - but only to your fellow BORG!!!!
I can't believe it took them 25 years to patch this update. Well, at least this thread will cheer us up.

Before this thread gets to another 10 pages in a day or three you'll have the ability to turn it on or off and to specify which actions to show your friends. Someone noted above that this friends feature is really useful for latest posts by people you want to read and that's exactly why it was created ... not to be a facebook clone. So my friend feed says: Knave posted: This is obnoxious Knave posted: I hate this change Knave posted: Huss never listens Knave posted: Why do I come here every day Knave posted: I need to get a life Knave posted: I really like the Red Bulls. Shhh. so in addition to the coming addition, I'd advise you to friend and ignore the people who you want to follow cause of the quality of their contributions.
Huss, IF you REALLY want to implement this, though I saw this mentioned a whopping total zero times in the "Ways to make BigSoccer better" thread, then my suggestion would be to have the option as a drop down box available down below the other drop boxes you could open or close such as; New Subscribed Threads Subscribed Forums Subscribed Social Groups (Also totally pointless) Latest Infractions Received Latest Reputation Received My two cents on where to place this Facebook/Twitter feature...
Will the reverse also be true? i.e. if my friend elects to show his friends everything, can I limit the notifications I get to the stuff I'm actually interested in seeing?

I just logged in from home with Firefox. The MFUs are now wide right and the Subscribed threads are now back even with the Control Panel and the MFUs. In this form it's really easy to ignore!
