One of the best things about the NFL is you can watch it in a sports bar while drinking on Sunday afternoon. So what if you could do the same with MLS (and the WUSA if it's still around) on Saturdays? And why limit yourself to the afternoon when there's a whole morning out there (for the hardcore among us)? This would help draw in the "don't care much about soccer sober but I'll go to the bar with you and watch" fans, who just might graduate to the actually go to a game type fan. And even if it didn't, it's a chance to watch a full day of soccer. 07:30 AM - EPL early game - Fox Sports World 09:30 AM - EPL Preview Show - FOX 10:00 AM - EPL Game of the Week - FOX (with alternate games on MLS Shootout) 12:00 PM - Soccer Saturday (Int'l highlights and MLS/WUSA Preview) 01:00 PM - MLS/WUSA Game #1 - FOX (regional, other games on MLS Shootout) 03:00 PM - MLS/WUSA Game #2 - FOX (regional, other games on MLS Shootout) 05:00 PM - MLS/WUSA Game #3 - FOX (regional, other games on MLS Shootout) 07:00 PM - Soccer Saturday Highlights - Fox Sports World 08:00 PM - MLS Saturday Night Soccer Game of the Week (national) - Fox Sports World MLS Shootout would include MLS, WUSA, and the EPL. A regular Wednesday night time slot on FSW (MLS, USL, Open Cup, CONCACAF Cup, North/South American Internationals) would be nice too. But I'll settle for the Saturday part first. Okay okay I'll wake up now.
Find a bar that is showing the shootout and have at it. That's what I do in San Francisco (Kezar, baby). james
I just dreaming Hey I am just dreaming but perhaps if we email the crap out of FSW MLS wrap we could get it come true....
