ok ... who's going over and when? i ask this every damn august in the feintest hopes that some on here would like to coordinate a matchday or two at the lane. no one ever does, of course, ya lame bastards*. 'oooh, i'd love it ... but i'm in law school' or 'sounds great, but i'm prioritizing my wife, kids, and job this year'. effin' part-timers. fine, then. i'm not waiting for your tired excuses this year - i've gone ahead and booked airfare and got my match ticket for QPR@the lane (23 sept), with the possibility of a europa league match on the thursday prior - should we be drawn at home. that said, on the outside chance that any of you lot will be over at the time, let me know so we can get some pints in pre- and/or post-match. jum? you gonna be around for QPR? how 'bout any other london-based bigsoccer yids? are there any other london-based bigsoccer yids, anymore? ah, fook it ... get your excuses in here ... go! *akron is exempt, here, by the way. phookin' volcano.
Well I'm finished with law school. But now I'm a lawyer so... we don't really get "time off." Maybe in 12 years, bro.
I still celebrate that volcano and it's wondrous bounty of plane-grounding ash and free ticket fall-out to see Spurs beat Chelsea at in the South stand at WHL All hail! I'm shown as working a 07-1500hrs that day, but will see if I can sort something out so we can at least meet up and celebrate the R's inevitable destruction with a pint. If any other Spurs BS'er wanders over to London at some point, let me know and I'll try to meet up with you too.
