Yes & NO ive seen rascism in Germany through "Nazi" symbols, HH, 88 the Dortmund incident with asamoah happened four years ago ofcoarse there are other groups that are also infamous for chants and rascist actions France is pretty bad though *Paris St. German*
Incidents happen from time to time, especially in the east...but I think the Bundesliga and its fans can be proud that it is rarer than in other European leagues.
Sorry but English Section of the Forum is closed with the new update. But you can post in English anyway think you get answers for your questions. http://www.1000-freunde-club.de/index.php?module=welcome

I definitely wish there were more books on the history of various Bundesliga clubs such as Schalke as there are for clubs of other leagues.
I am afraid they are all in German, but if you want a list of some books in German about FC Schalke 04 I can post a list here Edit Here is one in English from our friends from Nuremberg written by an English Supporter of FCN http://www.1fcnuk.com/content.php?pagename=betterwurst Edit 2 Here is one from Ian Cheeseman BBC Reporter and CitizenSupporter from Manchester about his job ManCity and his connections to Germany esp Schalke. Thanks. I pretty much thought I would be out of luck book wise when it came to reading about Schalke unless I seriously dust of my Deutsch rust. I just wish Schalke as well as other German clubs for that matter would add more to their English sections of their websites. It is no longer an excuse to say they only have German supporters. It is pretty cool when there are English supporters offering to help out in that department with various clubs to help with the English sections of the website.
Whilst not about Schalke, Tor! is a great book about the history of German Football ... highly recomended [ame="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tor-German-Football-Ulrich-Hesse-Lichtenberger/dp/095401345X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1268223217&sr=1-1"]Tor!: The Story of German Football: Amazon.co.uk: Ulrich Hesse-Lichtenberger: Books[/ame]

I definitely like that about this wonderful sport especially at away matches where the team really appreciates everything you give to help them in that match.
