    Connect somebody to someone. Here's mine:

    I saw a singer and his band, Virgil Shaw. The band had no bass player.

    Virgil Shaw opened for John Doe.

    John Doe was in X.

    Ray Manzarek produced some X albums.

    Ray Manzarek was in the Doors.

    The Doors had no bass player.

    Alright, I'll give it a whirl:

    Sting --> Georges Bizet

    Sting once was a member of The Police

    The Police's first guitarist was a guy named Henri Padavoni.

    One day old Henry walked in on Andy Summers practicing a flattened 13th chord, that the musically challenged Padavoni couldn't play. This caused Padavoni to quit the Police, and join Wayne County and the Electric Chairs.

    (bear with me here)

    Wayne County later became Jayne County, and led a legendary transvestite life, so legendary that biographer Rupert Smith wrote a book about him/her entitled "Man Enough to Be a Woman".

    One of Rupert Smith's other works was a biography of John S Barrington, a legend in his own world, that of the talentless, closeted homosexual with a wife and family who also happened to be a pornographer. John S Barrington sold gay porno to many famous people, including Italian film director Franco Zeffirelli.

    Franco Zeffirelli, in 1997, directed a TV movie version of Bizet's "Carmen".
