Lumping Interpol and The Mooney Suzuki in the worst category with Kelly Osbourne and Bowling For Soup has got to be a crime somewhere. Meanwhile, the average band member age of their "best of" list is likely over 40 (Tom Petty, Sonic Youth, Wire, Primal Scream, Mudhoney) -- did they make this list while waiting for the early bird dinner special at Howard Johnson's?

Audioslave is not one of the worst of 2002. Chris Cornell is a great song writer,Tom Morello is a great guitarist.Best hard rock album of '02. I don't understand why QOTSA is so much better in critics eyes. At the end they say most bands from Sweden are bad. In my opinion Sweden produces some of the best bands in the world from rock to metal to pop.

    Classic.

Audioslave would be good if they were still RAtM.

I think it's safe to say that we can all agree that Kelly Osbourne belongs firmly entrenched on the Worst list.

Nah man your not giving Cornell any credit. His lyrics are very cryptic and dark I can understand if you don't 'get it.' Not only that he also has a phenomenal voice. He's a one of a kind. Give him his due.

Okay, they were spot on with the worst list, but the best list was lame:

"Queens Of The Stone Age - Songs For The Deaf
These guys hang out in the desert, do a lot of drugs, and have really hot chicks hanging out backstage at their shows. LOTS. For a band that has a weird looking bald dude that sports a 3-foot beard and wears sweat pants on show days, that's a good deal."

Uh, it’s gonna take more than that to make me want to listen to this record. How about actually critiquing the music? That revolutionary idea didn’t occur to them on any of these records.
