Late to the game, I've finally decided to give this band a try. Another Radiohead clone I guess, but unlike Coldplay seem to have a lot of really original ideas. Anyone else like this band?
They've made 3 Albums; Showbiz (Excellent). Origin of Symetry (Not so good, but made them famous). Absolution (Amazing). They're paticulary big in Australia.
The Radiohead clone tag was attached to them a couple of years ago when their first album came out, but I don't think it can be said of them now. They have made some good songs and have their own distinctive sound.
They toured here (Australia) twice this year, once for the Big day Out and then off their own back. To say they were BOG for the BDO is an understatement, they absolutely rocked the joint and left many people in awe of their performances.
Muse are one of the best live acts around. To compare them to radiohead is mad, 2 very different bands.
If your a pommie band, your either gonna be compared to; *Beatles *Oasis or *Radiohead. But never, Sam Fox, Devo or those two camp blokes who did a cover of Abba's "take a chance".
