I would say he can train all he wants but there has got to be a better forward out there somewhere...though I am glad they are looking at forward b/c mathis will be gone for MNT games and Jaime will need a partner other than Mcgee upfront.

If we sign him, would we have to give TB our allocation?

Or his crotch grabbing after scoring a goal against the Metros. Directly at the crowd no less. Strange considering where he's from. South Orange?

Musa would be an excellent third or fourth option off the bench, and he has his green card and offers a little size and different look to the attack.

I could not agree with you more. Obviously the Metros need depth at forward position. Musa would be a decent option up front. I hope Bradley pushes to get him signed.

Maybe we can send them Nick S. instead? He can spearhead the revival of a Flordia expansion team. Heck, he could sign up Leandro Stillitano to assist him.

Then again, it's just as likely that we'll be required to sign Raul Diaz Arce from Charleston, then trade him to Tampa along with future considerations (for instance, our first soccer specific stadium).

Agreed. I always liked him. He's a good strong target player, and very very fast for his size.

As long as we're scrap heap a-pickin', one wonders if Sergi Daniv can make progress on a green card in time to at least get a look-see on the wing, where we're going to like some cut-price depth.

I would think Daniv is too oft injured.....maybe Lenin Steenkamp though?

I don't remember much about Shannon's game. Does anyone have his stats from his stint in Portugal?

If you're talking Daniv, what about Alexsey Korol? Has he earned a green card? I know Korol isn't a winger, but he could provide some depth at the forward position.

As for Steenkamp, I've heard he definitely has the talent to make an MLS roster, but that his wages at Rochester are much more than an MLS team is willing to spend on him. He would be a nice addition either way.

Not like I've seen many Rhino games (or all that many games Daniv has played a big part in - though I have seen a couple over the years) but I'd be more tempted by a cheap, still-in-his-mid-20s Daniv than a career A-leaguer who's got to be on the other side of 30 by now. Doesn't Steenkamp play in the center of midfield, anyway? We've got enough central midfielders by now.

Hey, hey, hey.....don't you go picking on my dearly departed Mutiny, especially now that I'm living up here with you all and will be attending several Metrostars games.....it'd be great to see Musa again!

Just had to add my two cents....LOL
