On top of the Henchoz injury. This may be bad news: From “Reds trio called up for England,” 06 October 2002 : by Steve Hunter On the LFC Web site http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/drilldown/N136985021006-2252.htm Quote: “Murphy did injure a groin during the 1-0 win over Chelsea but was set for a check tomorrow to see how he was.” -----------------

He had to come off on 75 minutes as the Reds inflicted a last-gasp victory on Chelsea for the second consecutive year.” Nothing else out there that I can find . . . --------------
He'll have til 10/19 at Leeds to recover. If he's got a bit of a strain then missing out with England won't hurt. Diao did ok in his place -- including the set up for Heskey'e shot that Michael stabbed in!
I'm sure the extra rest will help Danny Murphy recover from any minor injury in time for the Leeds game. Go Reds!! SeinDude
Danny's injury is my fault... that's what I get for proposing Igor to start over him for a few matches. Feel free to send your hate mail to me.
