I did a post earlier about who are real rivals are, who are fake rivals. I had different ranks etc. (it was my Bill Simmons moment) But regardless, Argentina has 2 Real Natural Rivals; Brazil and Uruguay. We also have one real Rival (not natural); England (due to history, etc) Everyone else, take a backseat to these guys. The Dutch are not really a rival, I mean, Nigeria can make the same claim. Its more because we've played important games against them, but that's more situational. Portugal is due to CR7. Once he retires and people begin to think post-CR7, nobody will think of Argentina-Portugal as a rivalry. That's a joke imo. They are not on our level
Portugueses are as delusional as Mexico, and maybe even more so cause at least we have history with Mexico (history of trashing them but history nonetheless)
Imo, Germany are our rivals too, at least we consider them rivals due to all the finals we played and the revenge we want on 2014 (and 1990)
I think Germany are a tier slightly below England. We need to beat them back in an elimination game soon to keep it alive.
I was off 1 game on the Messi FK, but still not too shabby if I say so myself. I’m no @Christina99 or @SupaMario on my predictions but I’m a tad bit more accurate than some of our non-Argentine friends on bigsoccer
