This team looks dangerous. They are not Spain. Spain just pass it for passing's sake. They have no focal point of attack as they did with Villa and Torres.

Morocco will have no shot. It looks like it’s going to be France v Portugal in the semis, and the Portuguese will like their chances.

The pundits change their minds every single day.

Spain-France-Brasil-Portugal. It is basically musical chairs. Now, they’re gonna say it is going to be a Portugal-Brasil final.

I wonder how we will play without Messi. Because unfortunately the day will come.

We have plenty of talent apart from a strong nine coming through although there are a couple of contenders in the wings Panichelli and Lopez and the smaller variety in Puch.

In a way we will be more cohesive though the breakout stars of the future would be Enzo as the general, Alvarez upfront and Garnacho flying down the wing.

Today's result should convince him to steer well clear of the Spanish.

The minnows only showed up at group stage like they often does, except this time they dont bother to try at KO stage.

Even Australia would have been slaughtered if wasnt Lautaro playimg for them.

As for Spain, if you look at their history , they're mostly round 16"ner at best, so nothing change outside 2010. They got beaten by freakin Russia last time around.

I don't mind Portugal doing well now that the crybaby narcissist is on the bench. Hope we meet them in the final.

Everybody played well but we've yet to see top team vs top team at KO stage. Any big team can look good againts lesser opponent like when Spain put 7 at group stage. I dont read too much into it.

Portugal beat N Korea 7-1 back then and couldnt put any againts Spain.

I dont know why people always say this or that team will reach final just because they thrash some minnows.

Goncalo Ramos, 21 years old, who hasn't been given minutes comes in cold and scores a hat trick. More evidence showing that choosing experience at the world cup is a utter bullshit.

Yeah, that day will come, likely after this world cup, I don't really want to think about that at the moment.

I don't want to think about the day when Messi no longer plays for us.

It'll be interesting to see what happens with Garnacho, could be, if Spain appoint a new manager, he might go all out to convince him to play for them. Guess we'll wait and see.

Judging by the youth performances, there will be a huge drop off.

Experience is just a way for our coward coaches in the past to play it safe and keep 'discipline' through seniority. Messi would have eaten 2006 teams alive.
