My condolences especially to the people of London, but also to all decent people of the world that are sick of this repugnant ********.

Yea, tough words especially with Bush (I'll throw him in here), Vicente Fox and Vlad Putin at your side, it looks like the mafia or something. I hope they do their homework and disarm these terrorists.

He has made another speech on behalf of the G8, with the other leaders standing behind him. It's just came on now.

Yes, he made a very short statement, surrounded by all the world leaders present at the G8 summit.

Deaths have been scaled back from 20 to 2. Which is miraculous, if it remains like that.

Hopefully it'll stay at two, but this is one of the things that drives me nuts about 24 hour news networks. They just spit stuff out with next to no idea of whether its true or not and change the story a million times.

I'm trying to get the live feed from BBC to work, but I'm having no luck.

What a horrible tragedy this is. Do they have any idea who committed these acts as of yet?

The CNN analysts keep saying it has all the trademarks of Al-Qaeda.

Absolutely incredible, if true. And really, a total failure on the part of the terrorists. Hope it remains this way. I still feel the media is only being cautious with numbers, but we'll see.

The BBC is slammed right now, but like Matt Clark said, try listening to BBC Radio Five Live if you can get through. The coverage is very comprehensive.

The Guardian noted two deaths at one site but also reported that there appeared to be multiple casualties at another. I suspect it's going to be a higher number than 2

The BBC's web site is still reporting 2 dead.

But it seems that there are many critically injured.

Thoughts and prayers to all of you.

It was reported a while ago that an Al-Qaeda website had claimed responsibility. That hasn't been confirmed yet though.

    RIP to those that died.

The UK is strong, and this will only make them stronger and more focused.

Oh this is awful. I just can't believe we live in this world.

My thoughts are with everyone in London. May you all stay safe.

Respecting the desire for those who want know politics in this, I just want to say that I love those Brits. Gutsy gutsy people. And Blair is really impressive. I am literally sick to the stomach.

I just saw Ken Livingstone on BBC America.

Whatever you think of him, I think he said exactly what was needed to be said.

I've finally gotten through to BBC Five live.

They're reporting that Al Qaeda has claimed responsibility.

To paraphrase a French headline, "We Are All British Today".

Hopefully the damage is less than it first appears and life can get back to some semblance of normal. The nations of the world have to band together to hunt the people who did this down and fix the problem.
