Did he have surgery? Any chance he'll be ready for the next Nat friendly on Nov 17?

He had surgery on Sept. 19th. Had two pins put in his ankle.

I doubt he'll be well in time for the friendly. But the Quakes site says he's recovering well for next season.

Saw him on the bench at a Stanford soccer game last week (he's an assistant coach) and he was still on crutches and had his foot all bandaged. =(

Talked to Richie last night, and he said that he's feeling much much better and he's definetely going to be out on the field next season...no doubt about it.

Eww, two pins in his ankle, that's gross. Or so it sounds.
My brother had screws put in his knee. Now everytime it's about to rain he knows because his knee starts hurting. I wonder if Mulroony has some special ability. Maybe he can predict the next Quake! :D

Yeppers, he was in a walkin cast Friday night. I told him to go and sit down and rest it up, he laughed and said he had been sitting for 3 weeks and needed to walk or he would go crazy.

He also said that there was no question he would be 100% for next season.
