Papa had multiple counts of lying to the feds. They reduced it to 1 and he flipped. If I heard it right he could've gotten 5 years per lie. I remember being 30 years old. I woulda squealed like a stuck pig too.

It's important to note that these revelations confirm that the Trump conspiracy goes back all the way to the GOP primary ... at a time when Cruz and Kasich were still in the race. That's just what we know now. Realistically some elements of this probably go back even further to 2015 or more. A true Republican would be outraged that their primary was sabotaged a hostile foreign government.
The new question becomes "What other George Papadopoulos types exist out there?" It is unlikely Papa is the only guy to have been caught and released. If he and others like him were wearing wires then who has been recorded doing what and how can anyone who has done some wrongdoing and spoken about it be sure they haven't been made already? The White House will have night sweats. The Papa break is a much bigger story than the Manafort-Gates indictments. With Manafort, Mueller is showing he can go back years and dredge up what he needs to make a case that isn't directly connected to the collusion of 2015-2016. With Papadopoulos he is showing that no one can be trusted because the Administration has been infiltrated by moles of indeterminate number. The walls are closing in. Trump has no reason to pardon Manafort for these charges and Papa has already spilled the beans.

I read somewhere that the Manafort thing should have Trump really scared because he has done similar money laundering deals and messed with offshore banks himself, and this shows how easy it is for Mueller to unravel all of that, even years after it happened. You know Trump is dirty.
