Anyone see Tucker Carlson and Max Kellerman absolutely bash soccer on MSNBC's "The Situation with Tucker Carlson" tonight. Both Carlson and Kellerman ripped soccer a new one and said it was not an American sport. I'm not going to write them or call them, b/c their idiotic comments do not warrent a comment, but I just wondered if anyone else saw this.
Fvck 'em. Carlson can choke in his bow tie and Kellerman, well, anyone who has hosted his own show that couldn't do better than Blutarsky's GPA for a rating doesn't hold much importance in the opinion department.
Carlson is as described by Jon Stewart a "d!ck". Plain and simple, he has very little journalistic talent. Kellerman is a joke of a man. He had a decent show on ESPN (around the horn) and was involved in boxing for them. He thought he deserved more cash and they realized he was crap and let him go. The show that he left actually got better in my opinion when he was replaced with PTI's "Stat Boy". His show on FSN was terrible as it was basically just him talking about his own opinions for a half hour. He's probably just pissed because people have stopped watching boxing and started watching soccer.
Jon Stewart, who by the way was just named an honoary All-American soccer player by the NSCAA put Carlson in his place live on Crossfire. It was just a few weeks later when Carlson was fired by CNN. If you haven't seen the Stewart-Carlson tete-a-tete, you can watch it here.
Tucker Carlson and Max Kellerman...when someone with any credibility bashes soccer, then I'll get mad.
*hangs head* someone please get Max a boxing show so I never have to hear him do anything else again?
Tucker Carlson is a snide little twerp and Max Kellerman isn't any better. "I, Max" was an absolute abortion of a show.
Tucker Carlson, Max Kellerman and Jim Rome... all soccer bashers that have had or are about to have their TV shows canceled.
I gotta say though I loved Tucker Carlson on Crossfire but that MSNBC show if his is an absolute trainwreck.
The funny thing is that few remember that Jon Stewart was actually making a point about both hosts on Crossfire. But because Carlson was too wrapped up in his Beltway insider game to understand that point, Stewart had no choice but to rip his heart out and show it to him before he died. Why anyone takes any form of cable punditry seriously -- from Fox/CNN/MSNBC to the gaggle of ex-jocks they trot out on ESPNews -- is beyond me. The medium is the problem. These people aren't paid to look up facts. They're paid to yell at each other.
Was beaten up by the soccer team in high school. And by the football team. And by the basketball team. And by the latin club. And by the glee club.
B'ah whatever he still probably gets a ton of hot-washington-stepford wife-rebulican tail. That in despite of being a douche.
