It was stated on MSNBC that a Marine shot and killed an Iraqi POW after the latter attacked the Marine and tried to get his weapon.
I'm not suspecting anything here but what if say an ill-tempered Iraqi militant did the same to an American POW and later come up with a lie that "he tried to grab my gun"? How would we know if he's telling the truth or not? Is there a way to know if the only witness is dead?
you are assuming he was the only witness... and anyway, i have not seen anything report on this in the print media and i only saw the blurb on msnbc last night and nothing since then, so who knows if the story is actual or not...
Re: Re: MSNBC: Marine kills Iraqi POW Are you guys nuts? This, along with bombing markets and killing families that run through check points, is not very good politically. It gives Saddam points in the "feel sorry for me I'm being bullied by the U.S." game he's playing on the rest of the world.
