MP3.com is dead

    Got the e-mail today. Apparently CNET acquired "some assets," and they're pretty much flushing the operation down the toilet.

    Vivendi killed off GetMusic (which sucked anyway), sold EMusic, and now MP3.com. I'm morbidly curious to see what they end up doing with RollingStone.com.
