Moyes comments on the chances of a permanent move for McBride. Restates Brian is there for cover, and a permanent move is still unlikely. Moyes wants younger players. If Brian would come on a free, I would guess it would be a different story. But Moyes probably sees BMB's price rise with every goal he scores and he isn't looking to shell out cash on a 31 year old. http://icliverpool.icnetwork.co.uk/...fm?objectid=12553604&method=full&siteid=50061
Not to mention the fact that Moyes has had McBride for 15 games or so considering his earlier loan spell with Preston, so Moyes is not likely to get swayed by 3 games. If Brian McBride keeps it up, then the calculus may change. Of course, Moyes could be commenting with an eye to negotiations with MLS. If he comes out and says he is going to get McBride, then any smart negotiator will start raising the price.
Geez, that Moyes is SO NEGATIVE....."trying to get younger players"....why can't he just catch the mania/enjoy the show like the rest of us? gg Looks like da BIG FELLA disagrees with those multiple posters who were already cashing a 3-5m payday with just another couple McHead goals...
