I have been offered a job in Chicago. We plan to live in Lincoln Park or Old Town.

Any ideas on where to find soccer pubs. Also, are there any co-ed leagues or over-35 leagues to play in?

    Thanks!

Lincoln Park or Old Town will put you close to Sheffields. A bit further north is Ginger's Ale House. A little west is the Map Room. Gingers is probably the best for following EPL. I'm not sure how actively any of these promote MLS, though I think not much.

As for rec leagues, try Bucktown Football or Sportsmonster.com.

I've caught both MLS and US National team games at Ginger's. You just have to call ahead and let them know, it seems.

You don't USUALLY have to call ahead with Ginger's...although it's never a bad idea.

If you're trying to catch a Crew game at Ginger's that's a different story. Fire and US games are never a problem.
