One of my friends went to an audition in Duluth to be an extra hockey player for this movie. It was the first I'd heard of it. Anyone know more?
Hmm... haven't heard anything of it either. I think the 1950 World Cup team story is more compelling because very few of us were alive when it happened, and even fewer of us were in South America to witness it. That vs. the 1980 hockey team where even if you weren't alive then, you've no doubt seen the clips over and over and heard Al Michaels call at the end. Anways... seems cool to me, since I haven't heard anything of it will it be straight to video? Someone go check BigHockey.com to see if there's chatter about it.
