I gotta say Donovan.....he led by example.....for no less than 90......oh, and by the way, I hope all who saw him get mugged by pierce, will shut the hell up about his whinning and diving. The Kid is maturing into a leader.
I've got to echo your sentiments exactly. The work Donovan does off the ball is amazing. And everytime he touches the ball, 3 and 4 guys descend on him, and yet he's still able to do anything. Other teams just really dont' have an answer for him. I believe his work ethic is an inspiration to the entire team.
I have to agree with you LDB. Even though Landon didnt appear on the scoring sheet, I think he was definetly the MOTM. His work led the Quakes to that victory.
I had to go with Ching. Partly because he was involved in both goals, and partly because he was in the CounterRevs faces all match long. He came back for the ball, he got into dangerous positions, he was menace to the CounterRevs the whole game. The best thing about this is that other teams are going to have to start paying more attention to Ching and this will free up our other threats, like Donovan, Mullan, Lagos, and so on. I could sure wish that Ching was faster. I could hope that he gets better with the ball at his feet. Still, he was a constant pain in the butt to the CounterRevs and that was a big help. Honorable mention to Waibel for mugging Kamler. A long over due mugging I might add. GO QUAKES!! - Mark
Onstad! Onstad! We want Onstad! Pat! Pat! Pat! Pat! Pat! Pat! Who do you think you are, Donald Rumsfeld?
Agoos. The guy controlled Twellman the entire match, kept the defense under control and solid, and practically controlled the tone of the match. Without Agoos, Onstad gets pestered a lot more.
Re: Re: MOTM vs Revs Rumsfeld Sucks! He's godawful slow, has a terrible first touch, and his shots are rarely on target. And on top of that, he's a loud mouth. Not good for team morale and gives the other side plenty to be pissed at. GO QUAKES!! - Mark
