I plan on doing this after every match. Please vote with your eyes, not with your heart. If you didn't watch the match, I ask you to refrain from voting.

In my eyes? Deco, for sure. He's added something that's been missing in Chelsea. Great fluidity in his play, fantastic vision. Makes passes no one else actually sees, and scored a great goal to top it all off.

Deco really was the engine that made us tick that day, in terms of attacking. Mikel was a wet blanket on anything Pompey were trying to ignite and Joey gave us that last bit of quality to put it away. I went with Deco for simply living up to the hype.

Deco played nice and he did compliment the MOTM well, but there was no doubt in my mind that Frank Lampard was the MOTM on the day. Frank looked very sharp in pre-season too.

Is it too late to vote for David James?

    Deco.

But in the future, add every player who played on the list. ;)

Joey. Seemed to flourish in that free role.

Forgot to add Lampard, who was immense in the first half and played his role perfectly when Ballack went off. Count this as a test run:eek:

Joe Cole IMO, thought the man was brilliant. He was absolutely everywhere. Lampard had a great game too, so it's between him and Cole for me.

I'll make sure, next game, to watch out for Deco and look for the good rather than the bad

 Good idea butIf I might make a suggestion, don't know much extra it entails, but I think every player that played should be listed, in the last match for instance I think about 6-9 players had a decent aurgument, including Supah and all the good stuff he does off the ball or to keep shape and retain poseession that still escapes a near any appreciation somehow:confused:, though for me last it was Joey Cole as MOTM I thought he was the "difference" on the day with Mikel next over a six way tie for 3rd

That's overkill and would result in stupid votes like Cech and Terry.

EDIT: I guess I will then if that's what the community wants:p

Good idea. Also Claudio, you should keep a running standings for MOTM points.
