ahh i need some im in school and i usually go to the gym and do machines and run 4-5 days a week but now i have finals coming up and i just dont feel like going....i just want to go home and be able to run and play soccer...is it bad to go over a week without any sort of workout? or is it going to make it wicked hard for me to get back into it? arg i hate it when i feel lazy someone give me some motivation or SOMETHING
Everyone goes through times like you are right now. I've been in one myself, not wanting to train, or anything, just play with the ball and be lazy. I found that by backing off a touch, taking it easy for a few days/weeks, can actually revitalize you in ways you wouldnt even believe. I've been outstanding in matches recently, playing incredibly...and I owe it to my rest and lighter workouts. I just go out, jog around with the ball, juggle, dribble and such, get in a good, long stretch as well...and at least try and have one good day of hard training a week at least. Good luck, I know how you're feeling... blake
no problem. just keep your head up and if you take a few days off completely, dont sweat it. itll probably work in your favor. if you're fit, time off wont hurt you at all. getting fit is 90% of the battle, maintaining it is the easy part.
thanks so much again....i was seriously feeling really bad before, but im just going to take a coupla days and not do alot and relax for once.... -Melissa
rest is crucial...you may not feel sore but your body may tell another story. Also, it's more important to have quality workouts. You can't have quality workouts without proper rest.
You also might have a little bit of a burnout, not a major one or anything, just enough to make you feel lazy though. That happened to me once so I just slacked off for a week and then I felt better.
yeah, i slacked off from last tuesday until today, and today i had a great work out, so i guess being lazy worked well for me
