    Atiba Hutchinson to FCK.
Both Helsingborgs IF and FCK confirmed the transfer of Hutchinson today.
Hutchinson has signed 4 and half years deal with FCK. No transfer fee has been mentioned on either Helsongborg's or FCK's web site but according to the Helsingborgs Dagblad( local newspaper) the transfer fee is about 10M SEK. Approx. 1.5 Million Canadian Dollar.

    Updates from the V's board:

Simeon Jackson came on as a sub and scored for Rushden&Diamonds in a 2-2 tie.

Also, Nik Ledgerwood made his first team debut for 1860 Munchen against Ahlen in B2 action. He played 90 minutes at left back in a 0-0 tie.

Does anybody have an update on the status of Ryan Gyacki? I had heard that he had injured his knee...

From an American poster, thank you to Dave:

Former Robert Morris University men’s soccer player Joe Di Buono ’04 was signed to a contract to play for Polonia Warszawa of the of the Polish First Division through the remainder of the 2005-06 season with an option for the 2006-07 season. Di Buono has started in the last five matches at defensive midfield since signing with the team.

Not sure, but he came back from Chile and i thought he was with Edmonton for a bit? that was a while ago...

Carlos Rivas jr. should be on that list shouldn't he? Maicol posted on the 5th page that Rivas was at La Serena and no longer counts as a foreigner....

And i could have sworn i read Winston Marshall has retired from football...

The majority of names on that list are confirmed. It is the most accurate up to date list out there.

Rumours that haven't been officially confirmed by link or very good source are not. For instance while Jazic is still contracted at Kuban he is strongly rumoured to join the MetroStars. I read about Marshall as well but didn't deem the source to be official. If true, official notice is probably out there and just needs to be tracked down. That's why I always preach "Post a link"

Haven't seen anything posted at Vs yet about Josh Wagenaar signing in Holland. But he has :)

I lurk at six Canadian sites and post at only a few now and the most up to date MOACA list is here
    http://forums.soccerfansnetwork.com/showthread.php?t=33033

That's the last I'll say about it as I don't mean to try and steal biz from BS... as we (Canadian fans) are all in it together.

    Back to lurk mode.

Wagenaar is at ADO Den Haag now? I was wondering where he was, as he seemed to fall off the face of the earth after the U-20 championship.

Hopefully it can soon be updated to add Will Johnson as a Heerenveen player. I hope the trial works out!

A Celtic fan posted a story about Lensky. Is there any chance of him playing for Canada at all, or is he doing the proverbial 'weighing my options'? Heard anything regarding his status vis-a-vis Canada Moaca? I do know that he's apparently quite the talent, but that is all.

    Thanks for the update Moaca!

Just to add, isn't Begovic on loan to La Louviere? Probably doesn't change the status of him being a Portsmouth player.

I guess if you were to track all the loans, then it would make the list complicated.

Yeah that's the type of info we need. He's off the list.

Keeping track of the growing number of Canadians Abroad is a communal effort. The more players we have abroad the more difficult it is to keep updated. Players often move with little notice. There are some guys who are very difficult to get info on. Some guys I'd like to get confirmed again are:

Manny Gomez - River Plate (Argentina Premier League) (1) Youth
Vincent Cournoyer - Royal Excelsior Mouscron (Belgian Jupiler League) (1) U20
Kevin Courcelle - Royal Excelsior Mouscron (Belgian Jupiler League) (1) U18
Mario Ostojic - NK Celik Zenica (Premijer Liga) (1)
Fabian Knezevic Jr. - Kamen Ingrad (Croatian 1.HNL Ozujsko) (1) Youth
Shmuel Hazan - Maccabi Netanya (Ligat ha-Al) (1)
Michael Abusabal - Bolognesi (Peruvian Premier League) (1) U16
Dawid Kwiek - Wisla Krakow (Polish Orange Ekstraklasa) (1) Juniorzy starsi Youth
Robert (Bobby) Bicker - West Virginia Chaos (Premier Development League) (4)

I also have a huge list of former players abroad (about the same size as the MOACA) of whom we have no idea where they've gone. If anyone is interested in helping to track some of these guys down, just say so and I'll post the list.

A person who follows soccer in Israel told me that Hazan is no longer with Maccabi Netanya. In fact, he might have only been with the club on a trial. Obviously, I don't have a print source, but I thought I'd pass that a long.

What's the story on the Swiss International Alain Rochat? On FM it says his second nationality is Canadian and that he only has 1 cap of Switzerland. He plays for Rennes now. Does anyone know if he was looked at by the CSA and if he was interested in playing for Canada?

Does anybody know what the status of Ante Jazic is?
I posted this on the MetroStars roster thread (I mean RedBull FC, I mean NY Red Bulls, w/e..), but I remember reading on the Star Ledger (the NJ newspaper) that he was with the Metros during their 1st phase of pre-season (when the coach gathered up a number of international players; I assume he more than def. made the 1st cut).
Two weeks ago, or so, I read on the same paper that it was almost a foregone conclusion that he would sign with the Metros.
    Does anybody know?
Thanks in advance for any info!

No Fernandes on the list. Is he still with POAK?
Is Sing still on trial in Italy?
