Just out of sake of debate, I’m curious to whom you guys would grade as some of the most American friendly clubs in Europe.

    My list:
    1. Fulham
    2. Borussia Dortmund
    3. Everton
    4. Schalke
    5. Wolfsburg
    6. Rangers
    7. Chelsea
    8. Bayern Munich

    10. Fortuna Düsseldorf

Honorable Mention:, Man Utd,, Werder Bremen, PSV,, Man City, Aston Villa,, Freiburg, Moenchengladbach, RB Leipzig, Hamburg, Hannover 96, AZ Alkmaar

    Hobro.....................in Denmark.

Last year they had 4 I think, including higher profile USMNT pool players Chris Cappis and Emmanuel Sabbi. Sabbi has since moved up the table to OB.

Clubs with at least 3 capped USMNT players who have made 20+ appearances for that club according to Transfermarkt (names italicized if those 20+ appearances came in a lower division):

Fulham - 6 (Bocanegra, McBride, Dempsey, E. Johnson, Hyndman, Ream)
    1860 Munich - 4 (Berhalter, F. Johnson, Wolff, Wood)
Aarhus - 4 (W. Barrett, White, Feilhaber, Johannsson)
Everton - 4 (Preki, Howard, JM. Moore, Donovan)
Hannover - 4 (Cherundolo, Casey, Mathis, Wood)
Rangers - 4 (C. Reyna, Beasley, Edu, Bocanegra)
Reading - 4 (Hahnemann, Convey, D. Williams, Miazga)
Schalke - 4 (Dooley, Wagner, J. Jones, McKennie)
Sunderland - 4 (C. Reyna, Altidore, Yedlin, Gooch)
Aston Villa - 3 (Friedel, Guzan, Lichaj)
Bayer Leverkusen - 3 (Dooley, C. Reyna, Hejduk)
    Bolton - 3 (Holden, Ream, A. Robinson)
Borussia Dortmund - 3 (Kirovski, Pulisic, G. Reyna*)
Borussia Monchengladbach (Keller, Bradley, F. Johnson)
Hertha Berlin - 3 (Sanneh, Morales, Brooks)
    Huddersfield - 3 (Thorrington, D. Williams, Holmes)
Karlsruher - 3 (Regis, Casey, Robles)
Nordsjaelland - 3 (Pearce, Parkhurst, Amon)
Nurnberg - 3 (JM. Moore, Sanneh, Chandler)
St. Pauli - 3 (Mason, Gibbs, Picault)
Tottenham - 3 (Keller, Friedel, Dempsey)
    Wolfsburg - 3 (Deering, C. Reyna, Brooks)

*Cheating here a little both because Gio's uncapped and because he's currently at 18 appearances, but he'll likely reach 20 two games into the upcoming season and should get his first cap later this year.

    Am I missing anyone there?

nice! Speaking of Dortmund... there was also Gyau. Wolfsburg has Kayo, Kobe, and Llanez in their youth squads.

Fulham takes their love of Americans seriously. Also not listed above amongst capped senior USMNTers.................Marcus Hahnemann, Eddie Lewis, Kasey Keller, Luca de la Torre spent time there. Now we have Antonee Robinson and two USYNTers (Damian Las and Marlon Fossey). I think we have another youth goalkeeper there, but I can't remember his name.

By the way, there was one game in 2008 in which they fielded 5 USMNTers (and the game was against Tim Howard & Everton.)

Keller didn't make my list for Fulham because he didn't have enough appearances for them, but he does deserve a special mention for being a key part of the club's great escape to narrowly avoid relegation, starting a crucial run of 10 or 11 games toward the end of the 2007-08 season when their number 1 Antti Niemi went down injured.

Yeah, I know. I was simply listing other guys that had senior USMNT caps.

I think 10 total senior USMNTers have played at Fulham. Soon to be 11.
The most under-rated on these boards is probably Eddie Lewis.
I think young fans may not know how good Eddie Lewis was.

Eddie Lewis was so aggravating though... he had the best cross of any American player ever, I think unquestionably, but his game was also so limited athletically.

The "American Beckham." He was a fantastic Championship-caliber player. Kind of a cult hero at Preston.

One of the best set-piece takers the USMNT has had.
Here's a really important one he scored for Leeds (ironically and sadly...........against Preston. Don't celebrate against your former clubs they say.) Now that Leeds is back in the Prem, Lewis is an answer to the question about USMNTers that have played for that club.
