What's the most underated players for me its probbaly Rogério Ceni who is all time leading scoring goalkeeper who takes free kicks and penalties for Saou Paul and spent his entire career there and capped for brazil a few times. But he's never left Brazil and only has had about 16 caps for brazil.
Fabien Barthez - very reliable for the national team, two World Cup finals, kept two clean sheets against Brazil, though he made a number of blunders for his club teams.
Park Ji Sun He played in recent matches and has provided for the team both times that I remember. The crazy header back into the box that somehow went to Rooney in Roma's match. and the solo effort to beat the defender and feed Rooney with a sweet goal in the match against middlesbrough. He should be at least the first/second sub imo. Giggs is getting old, so playing Park more should be a good idea.. However it looks like Sir Alex likes to play him more as a sub in the second half, because he can destroy defense easier with his energy and hardwork.
The first player that crosses my mind is Javier Saviola, I really like his style of play and I think he should be in the same line of Tévez or Agüero, but I think he has had the bad luck to go to clubs that have thought about him more as exchange money than as player. I'd put him when he went to Real Madrid with van Nistelrooy to make a great pair of attack.
David Bentley has really impressed me recently. Great vision and passing with good pace and power. Not really underrated, but hopefully gets more international recognition soon.
He doesn't play today, but Polish international Grzegorz Lato was one of the most underrated forwards of all-time, IMO. Things would have been different if he left Legia Warsaw and went to a big European club.
I know an underated player but I dont know any ********en stats to back it up or anything I would love to see him play for the Quakes and his name is Lars Lyssand he play actually at San Jose State and F'en handled business he was one of the highest ranked players coming out of College and he almost player for the National team when they didnt have enough players he always makes the right decision on the field and last season he played for Puerto Rico in the USL-1 league he helped them almost single handedly get one game from the final but one guy can only do so much in a team sport anyways freakin google him or something check his stats alright thats all I gotta say Brando
Petrescu, very important part of that late 90's Chelsea team he lacked the physical skill of a lot of opponents but his technical abilities made up for it
Alvaro Recoba (Uruguay) Pablo Aimar (Argentina) Andres Iniesta (Spain) Fernando Cavenaghi (Argentina)
My point was the vast majority did not rate him at all. How can he therefore be overrated? Plus he is not sitting on the bench at Inter.
yes sorry the Torino bench, and soon to be a Uruguayuan club. Perhaps he is not overrated but he has failed to live up to his potential barring a couple of seasons. He certainly is not underrated.
