Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

Was there a vote for best striker tandem? I'd put the Moreno-Lassiter pairing as the best-ever in MLS.

Both he and Marco are trailing Valderamma in this weeks poll for Best International

You know, I was looking at the list and noticed a couple of things:

    1. For all the big name types that the Muts have brought in over the years, only Guevara made the list.

    2. United has not been so dependent on getting foreign players as the silver bullet, yet Etcheverry, Moreno, Diaz Arce, and Ryan Nelsen are on the list. And the team has connections to two more in Stoichkov and Nowak.

    3. Gilles Grimandi is also not on the list ;)

...and now he's also the games played leader for DC United. Coincidence? I think not!

My vote goes to Branco. He was certainly the smartest international we've ever had in the league. He figured out how to get paid the most per minute of playing time. His tactics were fouls and spit.
