    Moreirense has given up a lot of goals so far while scoring few of their own. Could be 2 or 3 to 0. But I'd love to see a thrashing 4+ goals and a clean sheet. Make a statment with Porto heading to town the following weekend.

    Especially against that whiner Manuel Machado.

    BTW Record saying Acuna will be rested tomorrow for upcoming games against Barca and Porto. He has looked fatigued and I think its smart to bench him. Bruno Cesar would likely be the substitute. Probably will see something like:

    Rui;
    Piccini, Coates, Mathieu, Coentrao
    William, Battaglia, Gelson, Bruno Cesar
    Bruno Fernandes, Dost

    I liked Ristovski but I think JJ has a lot of faith in Piccini who was rested

    Starting XI

    Rui Patrício;

    Piccini, Coates, Mathieu, Fábio Coentrão;

    William Carvalho, Bruno Fernandes, Gelson Martins, Bruno César;

    Alan Ruiz, Bas Dost

    Looks like Battaglia off the bench again. JJ really wants to get A. Ruiz going.

    Battaglia and Acuna rested for barca and Porto makes sense. Alan had a better game in midweek and has another chance to perform

    Close from Alan Ruiz.

    Bit of a shaky start but we seem to be slowly taking control

    Nice attempt on goal just now. This is what I like about him, he’s not shy to go for goal.

    Wow. Big save from Patrício, even after slipping. Thought that was a sure goal.

    I feel as though we’re gonna get nipped on the counter attack at some point this game.

    Gelson seems to have switched to the left side. Bruno Cesar more central.

    Makes sense since they'll cut inside and overload the centre

    Big save from Jhonatan Luis off the free kick. Fernandes had that tucked into the bottom left corner.

    Beautiful play between, William and Buno Cesar. Moreirense defender just got a foot on the ball off the pass from William otherwise Dost would’ve had a tap in

    Offensively we haven't been bad, at least we've created chances, defensively we've been passive.

    Alan actually hasn't been bad at all, but when you drop Bruno Fernandes deeper just to play Alan you lose grit in midfield that Battaglia normally brings. I expect Battaglia to come in for Alan and Bruno moves up.

    He was wide open, that’s fair, Bruno Cesar was on a turnstile in no mans land. but that ball was not heading towards him at all until it went off Coentrão.

    I can understand starting Alan considering the game against Barcelona. But there is absolutely no justification for starting Bruno Cesar. Cesar is absolutely 100% unfit for this team. I'd play Bryan Ruiz over him.

    Dude was just standing there COMPLETELY BY Himself on that goal. What a shit player he is.
