    Significant?

"Draftees Michael Behonick and Hayden Woodworth will not be joining the Black-and-Red at their pre-season headquarters."

I think we had already heard that Woody was going and Bohenick had not been mentioned in camp reports anyway. Woody is looking to catch on with the A League to get some playing time this season. Hopefully things will work out for him and with possible injuries we may see him back this year.

I guess Bohenick wouldn't agree to a developmental contract.

Looks like we're going to go with just Warren as the backup.

MLS had recommended that clubs carry 3 keepers due to there not being an MLS-USL agreement. Hopefully DC has something worked out in a worst-case scenario that Rimando goes down, or gets called up for Confed Cup.

They do Earnie Stewart for 3rd string ;) But I heard DC signed some kind of deal with the Northern VA Royals..who knows maybe they have a keeper or two.

I've never seen them play, but I am guessing probably not the highest of quality..but third string is third string..emergency situations which will hopefully never be needed.

"D.C. United and the other eight MLS teams training in South Florida will gather tomorrow in Ft. Lauderdale for an assembly with MLS Commissioner Don Garber._New England, the only team not currently training in the country, will join the event via phone."

Is this announcement time or just a Pep Rally?

I went to a game last season. There were more people on the field than in the stands. And it seemed like everyone in the stands was a parent or a girlfriend. The quality of play wasn't horrible, but wasn't great either. Ex-DCU Sergio Salas was there.
