At the Ray Q & A he said Gazza was a dead deal and gave no hint that it would be explored again.

I just like how ShiteSports said DCU told "Hazza" to "get fooked"...if only we had that luxury.

This from a guy who raved about Carey Talley and traded him, said we didn't need any more young players and drafted one, and said we would play attacking soccer, yet plays with one forward on the road. I find it hard to believe a thing this guy says in public and his actions definitely speak louder than his words. I think if Gazza is fit by January, which is a big if, he will be back in DC for another go around. He may not be signed but I don't think the possibility of him playing here is dead.

We need all the help we can use. If it was up to me Moreno & Etchverry have to go. So we should have some SI spots open.

Didn't want to start a thread on this so I thought I would add it here.... I saw in the news recently that DC Utd have been in talks with Arthur Numan , the Dutch defender from Rangers.

Him and Pope together would make a sweet backline.

Surprised to see anyone keen on Gascoigne

Over in England he is regarded as a clapped out old hasbeen and he can't even get a game for one of our Conference sides.

Still if you do get him, good luck and keep him away from the Greek restaurants!
