Yeah, Wynalda says some interesting things. I actually have picked up on one thing he said, and that is that sometimes his teammates don't support the runs he makes. There is one major player on the United squad, who shall remain nameless because i don't want to get into a major argument, who absolutely refuses to pass Adu the ball when he's running wide open into space. If I hadn't seen it over and over again with my own eyes, I wouldn't believe it, but I have. Anyway, here's to hoping that Freddy eventually plays up to the hype.
I think it is funny that his Mom says that the media should not criticize him. Too bad. You make yourself a public figure and earn an obscene amount of money for one dinky goal and one FANTASTIC goal--then you have made the choice. If you are going to bask in the media glory, be prepared when they turn on you, because they will at some point no matter how great you are.
