Douglas sequeira goes to chivas MLS, from saprissa de CR (same owner)

    economies of scale at work?

Morado tell me about Douglas? I know he went on his late teens to Holland, when his broTHer Alejandro played for MLS (MUTINY), how old is he now? Better that alaejandro?

douglas Sequeira is 45 times better than his brother.
    Douglas is 27 years old
When he was 18 he went to Netherlands along with Froylan Ledezma, Douglas went to Feyenord and ledezma to Ajax, Both stayed there for a season and a half, then Douglas went to Germany for a couple of years, then he came back to Saprissa, he went one year to a minor team (liberia)as a loan, then he came back again 3 years ago and became one of the most solid defenders for Saprissa, actually he is my favorite player.
He played as a central defender (sweeper) for Saprissa, but for the national team he plays as a defensive midfielder.
He played against CUba in the first WCQ game, he scored one goal there, but he got a severe injury in that game.
Today he played his first and last game with Saprissa in this tournament, he played good, he looks in good shape.
He uses #20 in his Saprissa jersey, i hope he keeps the same number with his new team.
He flys tomorrow to Guadalajara for the preseason of ChivUSA.
He will be really missed here, i hope the best for him.

a news release posted on its Web site, Alajuelense said the one-season loan also includes an option for the Galaxy to purchase the 26-year-old Chinchilla's contract.

Galaxy spokesman Nick Ammazzalorso had no comment.

Sampson was appointed coach of the Costa Rican national team in November 2002 and remained for nearly two years. He took over the Galaxy in August, replacing the fired Sigi Schmid.

Last week, the Galaxy acquired 22-year-old Costa Rican defender Michael Umana, who played on Costa Rica's under-23 national team for Sampson, and on Wednesday, it signed Guatemala midfielder and national team captain Guillermo "El Pando" Ramirez on loan from CSD Municipal.

The Galaxy are led by two-time MLS scoring champion Carlos Ruiz of Guatemala, who will begin his third season with Los Angeles
