Is there a great quote about McBride that was said by the legendary Jack Edwards?

I will see a game at Gilette and grow as a fan!

Hey, I'm a new guy, been a fan since I gave the world cup a chance in the wee hours of the morning! Saw USA Portugal and i've been hooked since. Even trekked into Boston to catch US Germany at The Overdraught with my buddy that told me to give it a chance

    10) US will jump to 4th place in the FIFA rankings after an exciting Confederations Cup final with Brad Friedel stopping the final penalty shot by Thierry Henry

now i got a piece of advice for you. usually people like to root for their local team but i'm here to warn you that you shouldn't do that. infact you shouhld focus your attention on the other side of the country, the LA galaxy, now thats a team to follow!

o yea and its great to here we getting more peeps on board! did u like football or basketball before!? cuz that would make it that much sweeter! especially if u ditched the other ones and stayed with soccer :p

I believe at the end of the year this is the usa best lineup for upcoming 2004 wc qualifying: g=freidel LB=obrien CENTRAL BACKS=pope, bocanegra RB=sanneh LM=beasley DEF MID=mastro OTHER CENTRAL MID=reyna RM=OLSEN F=mathis,donavon.........all players should be still available for wc 2006..

    Huh

In their prime these are good choices. Remember that some of these players are getting old. We had one of the oldest teams at the last World Cup and I believe Arena has expressed a preference for a younger team. As good as they were we may not see Reyna, Sanneh or Pope. Mathis will be 29 and he is not big on fitness.

I believe that by the end of the year we'll be saying that 3 or 4 of these guys don't deserve any more callups.

Why would he have ditched the other sports.

Is it not possible to like soccer AND football, baseball and basketball?

no i'm just saying theoretically it would be good for the sport, in a way. i mean, someone all into other sports and then turns to soccer afterwards and like it soo much that they even wanna ditch the other sports would mean that soccer is comming along in this country. i don't mind people liking other sports... i like the lakers, kinda, the 49'ers, and the ducks... i'm not saying you gotta drop it, i'm just saying if someone does that means soccer is getting bigger and bigger... nothing wrong with other sports though...
