The Florida 2000 election result is possibly the single most distorted, lied about and obfuscated event in recent electoral history. The Democrats, and their media lapdogs, still routinely repeat absurdly false lies about what happened down there. Not sur[risingly, Michael Moore's Fraudumentary film F911 repeats most of these provably untrue theories. The 2000 election is just a classic example of "The Big Lie" - repeat it often enough and it becomes an article of faith, regardless of any basis in fact.
Yes, the myths have already gone into the Democrats' complainers hall of fame, along with Willie Horton. I love that stuff, it reminds me of the good old days like hot pants and boots. However, nobody can deny that Gore won the popular vote. Dubya is simply not all that great, he won by a whisker last time and he's not lighting any fires this time around, either. He's the GOP's answer to Clinton, slippery and unthreatening.
