My uncle always swore that this was shot in Hollywood. He never believed they landed on the moon.

There was a documentary I watched some time ago about the moonlanding.

Funny thing is, there HAS been a shoot in a studio. Just in case the actual landing wouldn't work. Nobody would know about it, they would just use the shoot from the studio. This wasn't too easy though, nobody knew how the moonenvironment would really look like.

It became even better when a Russian scientist (being Russian might be relevant in this case) started talking about the footage we all know. According to him several things in that footage were questionable at least. I don't remember all of it (damn my memory) but I do remember him saying something about the footsteps being wrong and the flag waving around while there is no wind on the moon.

Maybe someone saw this documentary too and knows what it's called? Quite intriguing stuff.

Where are the stars in the sky and why is the flag blowing in the wind? It's fake I tell you!

    OH
You're talking about the Fox special from a couple years ago that convinced every dimwit college student I know that we never really landed on the moon. All that crappy idiotic science...quite laughable. The lack of stars for instance: watch any night ballgame on tv and guess what...you're not going to see stars then either. The camera shutter speeds won't pick them up just like they didn't pick them up on the moon.

Actually, NASA has commisioned a guy to write a book debunking all the "evidence" like this, which should be out this year. Kind of sad they even are bothering, I guess, but oh well.

The really funny thing is how some people here start laughing about the mere idea that the moonlanding could be a fake.

    Now THAT's dumb.

BTW I believe you landed on the moon. But I also believe you would tell us you did if you didn't.

Basically, because there isn't a whole lot there. Just a bunch of rocks and a very limited atmosphere.

That's being generous to the moon to call that an "atmosphere". Tho I suppose it's technically accurate.
