Testo, Alecko and Warren all shine under watchful eye. How significant is college play?

A lot of U23-eligible players played well last night in Cary. Besides Warren, Esky and Testo, Abe Thompson was strong, Ryan Gibbs had a nice match, Mitchell Watson made some nice saves, Ricky Lewis was a stud, Marcus Storey played great defense, Matt Oliver was just plain nasty, David Stokes had a good game, Chase Hilgenbrink looked really good and Logan Pause shoed great composure. And, the Wake Forest players - Carroll, White, Parkhurst and Moose - didn't even play last night.

If he was going to just use amateurs, Mooch could put togethe a nice U23 team just based on the players in the ACC.

    Sandon....

the tournament is a great outlet for these players to show off their skills. one of your post earlier mentioned many of the big names on the MLS and national level are being represented this weekend in Cary. Its great to see these players meeting expectations. Not to put you on the spot, but who do you consider the front runners for the U23 squad (from ACC)?
