The acronym just came about. I don't think the club itself had anything to do with it, and doesn't use it anywhere. It's main use is as a twitter hashtag and as a shortener on message board (like DCU or RSL).
One of the reasons Montreal is so nice is because of its European charm. If you can't respect french speakers, and people who care about their language and culture, hell, if you wanna live in Toronto V.2, you should honestly ask yourself what you are doing in this city...my two cents.
lol i dont have a problem with french speakers.. half of my friends are french, but i just don't like that the pregame announcements are ONLY in french. Even the habs do it in both languages. AND never complained about the city, dont get why ur telling me to go to toronto.
Wow some of the picks for the armband designs are terrible! Horrible fonts and terrible color selections on some, a few good ones though.. but it would be nice if people were able to see them all instead of them cherry picking them for us. exactly what I was thinking, I made one of my designs red to kind of go with the red on the jersey because blue is just going to get camouflaged with the jersey.

the armband competition is such a crock. Can't wait for just a fleur de lys to be used, instead of something that's actually about this city... Fleur de lys FC, stay tuned for the 3rd kit in a few years that's just lillies all over...
What's more logical to place the blame at, the club from Montreal in charge of it's own image, or the government of the province that city sits in? Come on man, it's the teams fault, no one else, don't be stupid.

suck the club's dick enough over their odd choices concerning the logo, by using their fonts and imagery, and you win. Sad that something more representative of the city, and less samey to every single other thing the club does was not chosen. Many weren't even allowed to be voted on while some people had multiple bands in the vote, all a crock of shit typical of how the club runs things.
