Monterrey lucked out last time in that they faced a busy Chivas team. This time they wont have that luxury and i like our chances in a two game series.
Last time they were coming from a midweek game in Bolivia, and were surprised by an early goal on the road. I think they should do better this time. During the 1986-87 title run, Chivas was first overall (check), and faced Monterrey in the quarterfinals (check). I'm hoping for a repeat of that year's success.
Right...and let's not forget they have to beat us because a tie in the series would not help them...they'll have to attack a lot more than what they did in the regular season game...
