Alexis Sanchez makes at Barcelona more than anyone currently in MLS; I didn't see that part in the article. I'm assuming the thread creator made it up. :)

Columbus got an early start with Chileans (see Sebastian Miranda and Milovan Mirosevic).

the very frustrating saga of eric hassli of vancouver... to which i totally agree with the writer:

    http://blogs.theprovince.com/2012/05/26/whitecaps-hat-trick-who-is-eric-hassli/

personally, i hope he is gone by mid-season and, if possible, his salary being used for a more consistent, productive and courageous player-- we can ill-afford our top salaried player riding the pine and only being effective for the last 30 minutes of a game-- leopards cant change their spots- hassli, at the age of 31, is what he is!

OK Chilean footballers are too expensive for MLS or USL. Got it.
