Hey, these guys are like the SS in the Bunker in April 1945. They are clutching at straws. Thinking that somehow the battle can be reversed. The reality is that we are coming and there is nothing you can do about it. The inevitable tide of sporting history has turned.

What will be remembered from this World Cup in most individuals is not the loss to Ghana. Games like that come and go. The harshness and sadness of what happened softens day by day until you no longer feel the pain. But what will always be remembered by millions Americans is the 91st minute against Algeria and the amazing torent of adrenaline that ran through each persons body when it happened. A high that cannot be matched.

And that is not even mentioning the Slovenia game and all that transpired.

I think that is what is scaring the crap out of them. That many people finally experienced what us true believers already knew about this game. That once you feel that incredible buzz, you are going to look for that buzz forever. And it is a feeling that you can't get from a buzzer beater, 9th inning grand slam, or overtime touch down pass. There is only one place you can get it. Here.

ORLY? This is poor research by the kid and then even worse reporting for not making sure their interview subject wasn't an idiot. I also like how he thinks that he can play alongside Guti even though Derry City doesn't want him.
