A.C.T likely stands for Australian Capital Territory so I would say they are based in Canberra. I don't follow their leagues, but I can still usually recognize the names of the clubs. Never heard of this one though so I am assuming it might be a second division club. I'm surprised the IOC lets them use the rings.
Winner, winner and very good reasoning ... this is Canberra Olympic FC, a semi-pro team from the ACT and second level of Australian football
yeah, I was wondering how they got away with using the rings. The IOC is pretty aggressive about enforcing its trademarks.
I found this ironic. Harrison reports that New York as is a sports culture where the professional player is backed and supported when not playing well. Compare this to the English First Division and their way of dealing with a non performing player. "Being in New York, I'd always had positive feedback, even if I played badly," Harrison said. "I grew up in the U.S. as well, so all my teammates that I'd been with had always been encouraging and that's the U.S. mentality of coping with sports and stuff. But once I came here, I was on social media and some of the things you see, it can be quite ruthless. "I had to delete Twitter, just too many people coming at me. That was something new for me. I tried to build mental strength to work through that. It was tough, but it only makes you stronger as a player. Once you get your head around everything and focus on yourself it makes you a better player."
