Not sure about the badge, but the bird atop the soccer ball and the colors make me think it's a team from Uganda?
NEC Nijmegen or NEC is a Dutch pro club based in Nijmegen. The club currently competes in the Eredivisie, the top tier of Dutch football. Former midfielder and legendary coach Guus Hiddink played for them before coming to the old NASL and playing with the Washington Diplomats and San Jose Earthquakes.
Correct This is National Enterprise Corporation FC and they are also called NEC FC. They plays in the Uganda Premier League. Apologies as I had Dutch Total Football stuck in my mind.
I know @Brian in Boston is a graphic designer with a strong interest in team logos, which is why he seems to know most of these. I hope the rest of you that seem to know most/all of these aren't using Google just to look them up.
I don't use Google. I use my knowledge from memory and of football clubs and players I remember dating back to the old NASL days and also from working overseas a scout for a top pro team. Sadly, as I'm getting older , I'm starting to lose some memory. It is always nice to remember the older players and clubs though.
The bird is a crane and is featured in the center of the flag of Uganda, which sports horizontal red, yellow, and black stripes. The Cranes is the nickname for Uganda's national soccer team. The flag reminds me of the old NASL jerseys worn by the Ft. Lauderdale strikers in the late 70's, which I always thought were the best ones in the league at that time.
I remember the Strikers jerseys but they never had a bird I don't think..... Here is George Best wearing it alongside Cosmos great Dennis Tueart.
