    New map pack day!

I'm thinking about holding up on prestiging at my current level. I didn't dive into the double xp as much as I thought I would; even when it was extended all week, and I'd like to spend more time with the Ak-47.

I only played fuel and trailer park.
they were both confusing ... fuel, because it's so big and trailer park because there's a lot of deadends and similiar looking trailers.

I've been hoping IW would add something like this for awhile, really looking forward to see how the game plays.

Sounds good but whats the point of only having 4-8 TDM?

I finally got around to playing this game type last weekend and I didn't find the smaller teams for TDM all that bad. It probably would suck with only 4 players total but I've always been in a match with the max number of players. Without any killstreak rewards most matches consist of constant movement with occassional moments of one player or team holding a set location with little to no hard camping. The only downside I've had with barebones is that it seems there are a lot of Intervention using quick scopers but that seems to becoming a popular set up across all game modes.

How do you use claymores?? do you just lay em down and run away and shoot at them from far? if so, then they don't do much for me.

No - they've got little laser triggers. Set them so that enemies trip the lasers and trigger the claymores (the lasers point away from you when you set the claymores).

Claymores take forever to go off.More often than not,the player will just be able to run through them without getting hurt.

I LOVE claymores. place them in high-traffic areas and they do two things
    1) get you a kill while you're somewhere else
    2) tell you when they're flanking you

no they don't .... unless they have the sitRep pro perk.
I don't use that perk and can count on one hand the number of times I've run though a claymore and not get hurt.
claymores are very effective if you place them in the right places.

They are...but from what I have seen, they are alot easier to avoid as well.Cod4 claymores have a .83 sec. delay before going off.In Modern 2,it takes one full second for the claymore to detonate.May not seem like much but it does make a difference.

I like using the danger close perk when using claymores.I often get a handful of kills that way.(specially on Scrapyard)
