Maurice Edu is in a great spot at Stoke. Congrats to him for landing there as a bargain purchase. They rotate their midfielders, unfortunately who are occasionally injured playing the style of play that they do. Bounce one off of Crouchy's head, Mo, and make a name for yourself, lad. Stoke's challenging style will almost always insure they will avoid relegation. Mo should fit in nicely, even though as a late arrival he will struggle to get starts early. Being linked with early USA hero Cameron will also help him get noticed. Props to him for making the bench in his first opportunity.
Really, i think he is stuck in a bad place thanks to Fatsuit Adam. That would have been Edu's natural spot at Stoke, ACM - shoot form distance, spray the ball wide, hit the long shot, score on the corner. My only hope is that he gets slotted in as DM and that allows Cameron to push up. You can tell Cameron has some goals in him if given the chance. He should have gone to Aston Villa. Lambert reminds me of BB in his style of play and BB's biggest mistake was not having the dedicated Dmid on top of the CB's. Same story here.
Unfortunately Stoke's style is not going to help with Edu's first touch and passing ability. They just bomb it to Crouch all game. Same reason I am bit worried about Cameron there. In the games so far, Cameron is trying to put some passes together but he passes and then the other guy bombs it to Crouch. Maybe they can have an influence....who knows.
Lol, at your great nicknames, Sam. Sure enough, Adam was subbed in (ahead of Mo) at the 35 minute mark.

KICK & RUN SPORTS Management have some quality guys. Maybe they were devoting all their efforts on Andy Carroll?
I think he's with James Grant (who also rep Clint and Carlos). http://www.jamesgrant.com/en/sports/news/maurice-edu-signs-with-stoke-city/906 And as for JK's comments, is he aware that Mo's agents secured multiple offers for him earlier in the transfer window, only for Mo to turn them all down?
For somewhere between 2 and 7 games this season...basically until his hammy or quad explodes into shrapnel. He's stolen a lot of money in the EPL over the years. Without speed, just what does Owen offer? He's old, one step away from a bad leg of some sort, and costs a ton. What is the attraction? Fatsuit Adam....classic. True too. Man he porked up since that season at Blackpool. Thing is, he's kind of what Stoke need. If they're going to play longball, they need guys like him and Cam who can actually hit a decent pass. Edu as Destroyer, Cam as box to box, and Adam as the playmaker. Two decent wingers (which they have) and Crouch. That "could" be a decent team in a 4-5-1 if they can learn the back four to get the ball to the middie 4' in front of them instead of lumping a crap ball bypassing the midfield.
