If you haven't caught MLSNet this week, there are DCU bits in 2 different articles I found nice. 1. Wynalda's has a bit about Chicago fans booing Etcheverry and his response to an email on it. His point is--boo the man as an opponent but now this is almost certainly his last game with DCU and MLS, his team is clearly out of it--show some class and give him some cheers. Interesting perspective by Waldo, especially given his earlier article about "if DCU starts Etcheverry against Columbus they will lose." Agree or disagree with Waldo's positions but he's certainly not afraid to say what he thinks. Regardless of what you think of Etcheverry and his current game (and these boards have certainly been divided about him and his play), I think all of us agree that it would be such a shame for Etcheverry to end his career with DCU on such a note. 2. Tino Palace has a short piece where he talks about Hudson and TV and indicates how much of a difference Ray makes by quoting both Sarachan and Hudson on their one-line responses to Chicago's first goal in game two. Priceless! Sometimes more is less and TP showed very sucinctly why Hudson would be fine on TV.
